TRAINING DURATION

INTRODUCTION

  • Introduce to the organization and related personnel the knowledge and skill in daily IETS operation and correct implementation of Performance Monitoring Concept

OBJECTIVES

Participants will benefit by being able to:

  • Understand their own Industrial Effluent Treatment System (IETS) regarding on Design, Operation, Maintenance and Troubleshooting.
  • Implement the proper “Performance Monitoring Concept” in their daily IETS operation according to the Guidance Documents on Performance Monitoring for IETS Operation.
  • Analyze and evaluate the IETS effectiveness and efficiency based on the Performance Monitoring data.

IN HOUSE TRAINING FOR SCHEDULED WASTES MANAGEMENT (SWM)

  • Introduce to the organization and related personnel the knowledge and skill in daily Scheduled Wastes Management practices.

OBJECTIVES

Participants will benefit by being able to:

  • Understand the correct concept of Scheduled Wastes Management practices and fundamental of legal framework in Malaysia.
  • Understand and able to conduct proper waste identification, waste packaging, labeling, storing, delivery & waste generator/receiver responsibilities.
  • Implement the proper “Record Keeping Concept” in their daily SWM operation according to the Guidance Documents and function of eSWIS.

IN HOUSE TRAINING FOR AIR POLLUTION CONTROL SYSTEM (APCS)

OBJECTIVES

  • Understand the correct concept of Air pollution Control System (APCS) operations and current enforcement requirement.
  • Understand and able to conduct proper daily operation and troubleshooting on their Air Pollution Control System (APCS).
  • Implement the proper “Record Keeping Concept” & “Performance Monitoring Activities” on their daily Air Pollution Control System (APCS) operation.

IN HOUSE TRAINING FOR ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION CONTROL PRACTICES                                                                                   

TRAINING DURATION

  • 1 Day

INTRODUCTION

  • Introduce to the organization and related personnel the knowledge and skill IN Malaysia legal framework requirement and fundamental operation practices in handling pollution control system.

OBJECTIVES

Participants will benefit by being able to:

  • Understand the legal framework in Malaysia which is IER 2009, SWR 2005, and CAR 2014 that fall under Environmental Quality Act 1974.
  • Understand the latest enforcement requirement though the “Guided Self Regulation” with assistance of “7 Environmental Mainstreaming Tools”.
  • Implement the fundamental operation practices for environmental pollution control system included Industrial Effluent Treatment System (IETS), Scheduled Waste Management (SWM) and Air Pollution Control System (APCS).

FIELD TRAINING REPORT (FTR) PREPARATION WORKSHOP


TRAINING DURATION

  • 2 Days

INTRODUCTION

  • Provide guidance to participants in the preparation of a good quality Field Training Report for submission to the Environment Institute of Malaysia (EiMAS) as part of the requirements to complete the course and be competent in the CePIETSO & CePSWaM.

OBJECTIVES

We will provide our participants

  • Guidance to prepare the Field Training Report (FTR) according to EiMAS writing format.
  • With strategic guidance on how to include technical details into their report & implementation of EMT
  • Undertake technical review on the information gathered by participants for inclusion into the report.
  • Assist participants to provide relevant documentation required in the provision of information or evidence for the report.

TARGET AUDIENCE

  • Participants who have attended and passed Part I and Part II (Written and Practical Examinations) of the CePSWaM Course and have at least three (3) months before the last date of the final report submission to EiMAS
